Our fourth Wondercast comes from Cordoba – Argentina. It is an improvised electronic performance by Leonel Jacquier. The approach is expressive electronic minimalist, spacing between urban and tribal sounds. Nature and atmospheres are strongly present. It features nostalgic recordings from the Japanese film “Akira” (1988), by director Kaksuhiro Otomo.
In the period of time where Leonel worked on this project, extended parts of forest were destroyed by fire in Argentina; the title is a tribute to the efforts made during these dramatic days.
